At the Unity College Fishing for Scholarships Tournament, Jacob Hastings, a 2009 Mt. Blue High School graduate from Farmington, Maine, caught the fish tagged with the grand prize of the tourney – a one-year tuition scholarship valued at $20,000.

“I was in shock. My mouth fell open and my eyes bugged out,” Laurie Hastings, his mother said.
