i always get rope burns from the leader when i get like a bass and i just cant figure out how to fix it do you just get it really wet with like a bottle of water or something? if you have some ideas please feel free to tell me how to fix this problem thanks.

Whats The Right Fly Fishing Line?
i have a fly rod for both spin and fly fishing( im only using it for fly fishing) i was wondering what the right line was to use.
i know theres things like 2x 3x 4x and so on….i get what it means i just dont know what to use.
i also dont know if i shoulod have sinking or floating lines.
also leader? what do i use?
i am fishing for trout in rivers, ponds and lakes
we’ve tried heating the line and the eyelet but just can’t get the eyelet into the end of the line.
I am leaving out of town and i dont have the time to go buy a leader so im just wondering if I couldnt create my own
Dont’t bother trying the answers about shot.that makes casting to hard.You can buy leader sink from most tackle shops under various names.Leadersink ,permasink, and many other names.if you want a cheap alternative that you can make yourself try this one take a hand full of cat litter ( the stuff you put in cat trays not the stuff they put in )mix this with a table spoon of water and a table spoon of washing up liquid,you want it to be a soft paste, keep it in a pill pot with a small piece of cloth and just rub your leader down with it before you start,and whenever needed.

What Kind Of Fishing Line Should I Use For Fishing In A Pond With A Lot Of Weeds That The Fish Get Tangled In?
There are too many weeds to use any flippin baits because the mat is too thick on top. but they bite on horny toads on top and then get down into the weeds and get loose. what can i do to help get them out of the weeds?
