I Need To Catch A Fish With A Fishing Pole.?
I’ve tryed many places but no luck. Can any one help me. I need to find out a location where there are fish that are willing to give me a big smile by hooking themselves in my pole. I live around Clivis/fresno, California area. thanks
take fishing line and wrap some around your fingers and throw it out with your hands. I have caught many fish like this just by throwing line out with a bobber sometimes and a worm or just letting it sit on the bottom. its pretty exciting to reel a fish in with your hands.

Your best bet would be to go to a local sporting goods store and ask for help. Choose the rod weight to match the size and weight of the flies you will be using. Something in a 5 or 6 weight rod should be good to start with. You don’t need an expensive reel. Get an extra spool for your reel. Set up one spool with floating line and the other with sinking line. Take at least one fly casting lesson. You might be able to get the store to throw a lesson into the package.
Easy, safe, and probably correct answer is “No.” Take a look at your state’s FWC or DNR or whatever you have’s website and look under fishing regulations to be sure.
