The technique of catching the “bulldozer”. What kind of fish is caught. Similarities and differences of the “bulldozer” from the non-attachment jigs. The versatility of the bait.
Despite the strange name, which implies something stupid, awkward, this bait is nevertheless very effective in catching a wide variety of predators. It can be a perch from the palm and a weighty humpback weighing a kilogram. Any other predator will not give up the bulldozer. And here, too, there can be a wide variation in weight and size of the predator attacking the bait – from bee-eared and perch to large predators. Something “bulldozer” fascinates the fish, and it grabs an obviously large bait for it.
“Balda”, so to speak, it belongs to the family of non-nosed jigs and most of all has similarities with such baits as “devil”, “goat”, “jellyfish”. And it’s good if this bait will always be in the angler’s organizer.
What is similar to the “goof” to rewound and how is it different?
This is a rather large and active bait, equipped with additional elements, which are cambric, shhersinki, beads, that is, everything that no reels have. But the “bastard” is distinguished by greater activity and asynchronous movement of these elements, which literally infuriates an active predator and he will definitely attack if the bait is in his field of vision, and the predator is not lethargic. The non-synchronicity of the playing of additional elements is achieved in one case by stringing cambric and beads on only one hook. In another case, the hooks are at different distances along the body height of the bait. And here we must stop at making the bait.
The body of the bait can be a lead casting with a hole at the top, a rod of randoli, copper, a small-caliber bullet, even a handle cap. In a word, it can be everything that is at hand and can serve for making bait.
Usually, a fishing line or a flexible metal leash is threaded into the upper hole of the body of the bait, on which a double is freely suspended, and more often two single hooks with cambric, beads, wool.
The versatility of the bait
“Balda” is a versatile lure that can be successfully caught both in summer and winter. Only in summer is the principle of fishing used, similar to fishing with a side nod. That is, a fast action rod is used, preferably with a side nod. Why fast action? This will make it easier to control the bait and play out large fish. A whipy rod, of course, plays along better with the bait, but it will be more difficult to fish out the fish.
Should be considered that the line thrown off the tip of the rod vertically may be shorter than the rod. Therefore, after hooking, you need to bleed off the required amount of line from the reel so that you can reach the fish with your hand.
Fishing technique on the “balda”
The technique of fishing with the “noodle” consists in twitching the tackle and a short lead down and up. This is somewhat reminiscent of the movement of a winter fishing rod and the vibrations of a jig. Only here it will not be possible to create a frequency similar to the winter jig. But this is not required. “Balda” and with stingy movements makes hectic active movements with hooks with cambric, attracting a predator.
